"On Building Better Students" was born out of the frustrations of training new hires in
corporate America. New hires presented themselves to us with massive gaps in their ability
to learn, and apply.
I studied this situation, and all of the nuances. Slowly, certain behaviors bubbled-up as being critical to a learning. I assembled these disciplines, analyzed them, and began implementation. After testing, and more than a few refinements, these behaviors became known as, "The Critical Success Factors for Learning."
"On Building Better Students" is a story of discovery, plus classroom strategies. In addition, there are historical stories on how innovation/new remedies have been on shaky ground in our world. These factual accounts are told to forewarn implementers that anything new is NOT easy. I hope you enjoy the book, and implement the strategies, for the sake of our children.
